Our black belt grading day in 2019

On October the 31st we held our annual grading day for master degrees at Ichinen Bridport.
This time the event was at the dojo British Legion hall in Bridport and we used our regular training times instead choosing a weekend.

And all went ever so well! The examiners in  the grading panel were happy with the brilliant organisation of the ceremony and the many spectators were presented a well performed run and gradings.

The graduations in detail:

Horst D. Lindenau graduated for 3rd Dan Jiu-Jitsu

Andy Loudon graduated for 1st Dan Jiu-Jitsu

Lewis A. Harris graduated for 1st Dan Jiu-Jitsu

Steve Reynolds graduated for 1st Dan BlackCombat

Big congratulations to all new masters and big thanks to all members who helped to make this event such a success. Oss!

IMASA is our new martial arts organisation

Hi all,

will you please bring your record book of the AMA to next trainings so I can collect them and transfer all your entries, gradings, seminars and achievements into the new IMASA licence & grading book.

The insurance is already active for everybody as I have paid for you upfront. Fee would be between £ 10 and £ 3, depending on date of membership with AMA. Nobody pays double as Ichinen Bridport substitutes any overpayment.

This is the webpage of IMASA

http://www.independentmartialartsportsassociation.co.uk/

And this is their Facebook page

https://www.facebook.com/imasa.chambers/?fref=ts

Everyone who brings the old record book and the fee will receive the new book plus a new badge.

Ichinen Bridport now IMASA member

Great news for all. Bridport martial art school Ichinen Bridport has become a member of the Independent Martial Art Sports Association  http://www.independentmartialartsportsassociation.co.uk/ IMASA.

IMASA will be our organisation and partner in the future and provides us with not only insurance cover for all our styles (Jiu-Jitsu, Anti Terror Combat and Karate), but gives us a great platform to interact with other martial art clubs near by and  all over the UK. And probably the most important is, that we can run our local martial art school from here completely independent. Step by step we will now replace the old AMA memberships into IMASA membership and what is most important:

Training stays the same!
