4th Kyu Jiu-Jitsu for Andy Loudon from Ichinen Bridport martial arts school

Big day for Andy Loudon and Ichinen Bridport. Thursday the 13th of August 2015 Andy Loudon took another step into the martial arts. He successfully passed his second grading at our local martial arts school and was awarded the orange belt (4th Kyu) in the traditional Japanese Budo discipline Jiu-Jitsu.

Andy was a bit nervous before his grading, but Master Horst Lindenau guided him through the test and finally Andy passed with a respectable mark 2. Well done and congratulations to Andy from the whole team at Ichinen Bridport.

The grading consists of classic Jiu-Jitsu techniques as throws, arm locks, kicks, hold downs and transport grips. Followed by seven various defences against the most common attacks in real life situations. Rolls and falls and a test in theory completes this martial arts grading.

From his last examination to yellow belt Andy had to train a minimum of 4 months to be excepted for his next step.

Well done Andy Loudon!

Here are some images to give you an idea how it's like.
